There's not a lot happening. It's Monday, which means laundry day. We had some icky rain again yesterday, but had a lot of fun going to see Heather and watching New Moon. Hannah got to spend almost the entire, solid weekend with "B" so it was good for her too. They didn't know what to make of the almost 2 hour car ride to go to the movies, but it was worth it to meet Heather half way.
I started reading my "Dummy" book and it has been helpful. It's hard to believe that I won photography awards for my work in college, but I feel like a total spazz with these extra features. Lately I've been taking mostly cheerleading photos, and with just the 1 minute or so between periods to get a single, decent shot, well, that has made me aware of the need to figure out what I'm doing even more.
This will be our first Christmas someplace other than our home and I have mixed feelings about it. I'm super excited to have the opportunity for this awesome trip, but a little sad that we won't wake up for presents under the tree. I really miss having my family over Christmas morning to exchange gifts, watch Hannah open her presents from Santa and then have a HUGE breakfast complete with Christmas "crackers". It was the little tradition I started and I have missed it every year since we moved to North Carolina. It's a little hard to believe this is our 5th Christmas since the move.
