Working on my paper

I've come up with my topic and have been reading avidly. This is the story in a nutshell. Very very sad stuff. I didn't want to go all the way back to the civil war to talk about cultural conflict in North Carolina. I thought this would give me a better basis since it happened recently, while I was living here. I kind of stare like a deer in the headlights when it comes to terrorism. It just always seems to be close to home. Being a New Yorker, a USF grad and the issue with Sami Al-Arian... is it following me around, or is it just everywhere? I've been reading a lot of hate about Islam, that it isn't really a peaceful religion... all sorts of hate doctrine from the Quran... Wow. It has been a heavy morning.
