Hi, just a quick post before I hop in the shower to get my day going. Work at 10 today. Fun fun fun! I enjoy work, but I enjoy staying in bed more some days. If I wasn't working, I know it would be about 3 weeks before I was going stir crazy. That's about my limit now. I need that little something, even if it's only 15 hours a week. The 15 hours isn't the part that annoys me though, it's the 6 hours a week I spend in the car to get there and back and the other 3 that I spend primping. When I think about it that way... I spend 15 hours working and 9 hours preparing. The ratio is depressing.
So, last Wed was a snow day and Thurs was a school delay for ice. Today, I have my bedroom window open. Hannah and I met up with Heather in High Point, which is about half way between both of us, to see Inkheart with her. We had a great time. Got lunch/dinner afterwards. It was nice. In any case, it was 76 degrees when I checked the thermometer in my car and 74 after I started driving a bit. It has been in the high 60's, at the very least, since then.
Movies on Saturday, shopping at the outlet mall on Sunday. Bought 2 new blazers, a new suit, pair of shoes, and a cami for under one of the jackets. AND I got 2 new cookbooks. Love gift cards. I spent one at Lane Bryant and one at Books a Million. I still have more! It's like Christmas all over again. Getting them was fun, spending them is fun.
The damages appear to have been estimated at $5600 for my kitchen. I think part of that comes from the countertop being marred in one place. It's not ruined per se, but it is damaged. To fix that, the whole countertop has to be replaced. To ensure the old and the new match, it means replacing all of the countertop in the kitchen, including the island and bartop, even though it wasn't in the way of the disaster. I'm just guessing. I haven't seen anything yet, I've just heard from Keith some figures that have been thrown out.
Paperwork is signed though and I should be getting my "Valiversary" fence (that's what Keith's calling it since it's for Valentine's Day and our anniversary). Even though I was really excited about getting an arbor, that was in the "if I had my way and didn't have to think about the money" scenario. The stupid arbor is about the same cost as 1/3 of the fence, so no arbor for me. I'm still getting a little gate at the back section and plan to build my own. I figure if I get flowering vines to grow around it, you won't see the actual structure much anyway.
Hannah goes back to the orthopedic doctor on Friday. Hopefully she is healed up and will be able to get back to her regular activities again next week.
From what I understand we don't have any plans for the weekend though. I know we will be going to the Melting Pot for our anniversary Tues, but Valentine's day gets sort of lost in that. I have to go food shopping though! I am going to try to do that on my way home from work. We won't make it through the weekend. I have to get out to work now!

"Valiversary"...I love it! As for an Arbor...I've seen arbors at Sam's Club when I was working there are reasonable prices. You may want to check it out and see if you can work it into the budget. I just posted a link on my Facebook wall for you.
