"R's" dad called me last night after cheer and told me that "R" had decided to move to Florida with the family. That after everything was said and done, she had second thoughts. I was glad that things have worked out for the best with the family, that they gave her a decision and that she made the decision to stay with her family, and that is what I would have wanted for Hannah. I've told Keith that I don't think I would have let Hannah stay behind with anyone for 4 months.
The only one who is totally crushed in this is Hannah. Poor Hannah. I'm sure poor "R" too, but Hannah didn't get a choice. She was just looking forward to something that's not going to happen now. Like missing out on a day to the circus. Since this is more serious than a day trip though, I'm happy that everyone has considered it carefully and made the choice that will work best for them.
