Hard to believe it's already Wednesday! I dropped the kids off at 4H this morning and that has been going well. I seem to have lost the week because when I dropped them off on Monday morning, I ran around the rest of the day. Yesterday I didn't have carpool duty but I worked until 5. Now I am going back out to pick up Hannah and shuttle her over to horseback riding since it's like a big triangle and she has an hour in between 4H and riding. Today will be a busy day for her, but at least it is a chilly 93 right now instead of 100. Whew.
I'm sitting at the downstairs computer uploading CDs to iTunes. I have some that I purchased that I love one or two songs on and Ithought it would be fun to make a cd or two with those particular songs. I finally slowed down and had an hour to myself and didn't want to just wander around aimlessly -- or worse, go shopping for something I don't need -- during that time. This is more productive! I guess I could go a step further and actually clean something! Nah.
I got a pedicure this afternoon though (hot pink :) Val) and had my eyebrows waxed. I think I've mentioned the curse of my eyebrows since I was in middle school. Big, bushy, black, EVERYWHERE. They grow in way too fast. This was the first time I've gone to this particular place (mostly out of convenience of the moment) and it was more like torture than a relaxing hour of pampering. I had a painful pedicure and the eyebrow thing seemed to be worse than usual. So much for treating myself!
Other than that, it has been a productive morning. Gas is up to $3.91. I got a bargain and found it at $3.86 someplace, but it's just ridiculous.
Hannah has been a hoot with her new phone. She is taking videos of her HAND, making up little stories and dialogues. It's weird, but she is just SO into it. She did take pictures of the egg farm they visited yesterday at 4H, as well as some videos of the equipment packing the eggs in the boxes. Keith said she's going to be a videographer now. We got the "chaperone" feature working on her phone now, it shows us where she is by GPS and will show us how fast she is traveling (which would be fun if she could drive). The main thing that sold us on that though was that we could actually LOCATE THE PHONE with GPS when she forgets it someplace, lol.
Well, need to wrap up and get out for my next jaunt of running around. At least I have another new book to read.

Oh GPS on a phone. My kids should count themselves very lucky their phones didn't have that one. :) No painful pedicures! That is not relaxing. It took me awhile but I finally found a place that is kind and not painful. Alleviated a lot of stress on me! Hannah sounds like such a cool kid. You did a great job with her.
Valerie
Which phone did Hannah get? I loved getting a video from her. To bad her hand couldn't get into the bread through the bag...silly girl.
Thanks to you, I know never to get my brows threaded. LOL. I thought it was like getting little extensions for your brows...ha! Imagine adding MORE hair there?
