Father's Day CD

Here are the songs that made the CD. Hannah helped me pick the other night when Keith was still gone, hence songs from Hannah Montana, My Friend Flicka, Tarzan and the Wild Thornberries movie! I've put links that have each song, but I haven't sat and watched each video. I know that some of you may be interested in hearing some of the songs, so this was the best way for me to share.

The last song has a very special place in my heart. The video linked there is the same one I saw on our 12" tv when Hannah was only a month old. I was awake late on a Friday night while Keith was asleep, calling out to God, crying because I didn't know how I was going to leave Hannah to return to work, how we would make it financially on just the one income, and this song came on as an answer to prayer. We were going to be the set of Joneses that would get by with whatever God sent our way. I remember the two of us praying together constantly during those times and just weathering the storm.

  1. Cinderella -Steven Curtis Chapman
  2. You're Gonna Miss This -Trace Adkins
  3. Ready, Set, Don't Go -Billy Ray Cyrus feat. Miley Cyrus
  4. Butterfly Kisses -Bob Carlisle
  5. Live Like You Were Dying -Tim McGraw
  6. Always Be Your Baby -Natalie Grant
  7. You'll Be In My Heart (Phil Collins Version) -Phil Collins
  8. My Little Girl (From the Motion Picture "My Friend Flicka") -Tim McGraw
  9. Father and Daughter -Paul Simon
  10. Stealing Cinderella -Chuck Wicks
  11. I'll Remember (Theme from the Motion Picture "With Honors") -Madonna
  12. Blessed -Elton John
  13. Because You Loved Me (Theme From "Up Close & Personal") -Celine Dion
  14. Two Sets Of Jones' -Big Tent Revival

So, I have been listening to the CD to make sure that it was okay and that resulted in me having a little boo hoo. I hope you enjoy the music.

I agree with Val - he is going to love his gift. Such an amazing job you have done.

Hannah looks even more like you now that you posted the picture - but I can see you like that clearly in my mind. Hannah has your spirit, too. Which is awesome.

How was King Fu Panda?

I am SO happy you have a phone with texting and a camera!! Whoo hoo!

I meant to tell you I am going to use "Stealing Cinderella" for a page about Beth and Tien. I heard it for the first time shortly after they got engaged.

Texting with your phone is so much fun. I do that more than talking on the phone.
