Hooray for the Giants, my grandpa's team. I am not a football fan myself, but I have been watching off and on since marrying Keith. I am more excited to be watching House right now if I must be honest, lol.
It was a quiet day other than Super Bowl. Keith grilled hamburgers. I helped him with some homework.
Today is my dad's birthday.
No word from Heather, please keep her in your thoughts. I will try to touch base with her tomorrow.
My mom is going in for surgery on 2/19 for something with her nasal passages, sinuses. I will get more info to you later. Do keep her in your prayers as well.
One more prayer request for Gracie, my 3rd grade Sunday School teacher, mom to my first boyfriend (I was like 13, lol), and one of my mom's best friends who moved from our church in NY to follow my mom down to Lakeland for a new life shortly after we moved. She had breast cancer some years ago and now she has been diagnosed with lung cancer. She was not a smoker, but it is likely that the lung cancer has come as a result of her previous breast cancer. There isn't much that can be done for her. She is now living in the mid-west with her son and his family.
