CONGRATS to my friends in Canada!

You have to see their beautiful baby girl and their equally as handsome little boy in
these photos. Just soooo precious. Hannah was excited to see she now shares a birthday with the new baby. She thought that was pretty cool.

Life has slowed down a little after the weekend of having out of town guests again. We have enjoyed all of the company these past couple of weeks! I finished up my paper for Marriage and Family this morning and sent it off to SC. I honestly felt better about having it out of my hands than I did about working on it and obsessing about it. Just to have it off my plate was a blessing. Now I have a few things with my project that is due tomorrow night, but I'm not stressing over that.

I had a relaxing evening out in the hot tub chatting with "L's" mom for about an hour and a half. I think we discussed just about everything in that time!

I'm doing a presentation at two middle schools on Wed. and, oddly, I'm not looking forward to it as much as I was initially. I haven't been kept on top of what is going on, where I'm going, nothing really. I don't typically mind doing things by the seat of my pants, but I am conscious of how my presence in the community can effect the college.

It was a nice, quiet day at work today. The students are on spring break. Someone else from the office and myself worked on the bulletin board and went out to lunch together. I have a couple of things I need to work on there tomorrow, but the break is welcome. It's hard to believe I have less than 2 months to go and then I'm out of work for two months.

I sent an e-mail to the internship advisor, or whatever he's called, at Webster last week asking what I needed to do to line up an internship for this summer. It was probably around Wed. that I tried to contact him and he still hasn't responded. It seems like the closer I get to being finished, the harder it is to make heads or tails of anything there and it's frustrating. I have a potential opportunity at one of the community colleges, which I would LOVE to do. I really enjoyed working in the community college setting and working with a more diverse student population. Not that I am unhappy where I am, you know what I mean? There is a difference in the campus culture from a community college to a mainly residential 4 year college targeting "traditional" students.

Well, I'm heading off now. Hope everyone has a happy week!!!

Many thanks, Beth. I knew Hannah's birthday was around now, but I didn't twig is was March 4th until I read this. That is really cool.
