What a week. I would like to affectionately dub it the week from hell, but vacation time is vacation time and that's all good. Even if I spent 1/3 of it sea sick, all of our excursions were cancelled, we didn't make it to the Caymans (when I say "we", I mean we... the whole stinkin' ship), the trip to Key West turned into a less than brief stop between the hours of 7 am and noon, and the trip to Cozumel was delayed about 4 hours.... ah yes, vacation. A time of little stress and a lot of togetherness. Who knew the togetherness was going to be in a room smaller than my closet while Keith fished the dramamine out of the suitcase and said that he didn't understand how I could still be sick while I was laying down...
Hannah had an admirer on the ship who told his parents that she was the "girl of his dreams" and made dinner reservations for the two of them on the last night on the ship.
We did rent a car in Cozumel and went to the Mayan ruins and to the far side of the island where Hannah got to play on the beach for an hour. It wasn't the same as our anticipated catamaran sailing trip, snorkeling, beach party extravaganza, but at least we did something.
I was thoroughly disappointed. We were placated with a whopping $100 per cabin onboard credit. With sodas costing $2+ +tip, well, you can see how much that impressed me.
I may have made it better in my mind than it actually could have been, but I really didn't expect this.
Lots of photos and Keith also took some video with his new camera. I will have to post them later.
We came home to a problem with our alarm system that causes our alarm to shriek every 30 seconds in one loud chirp. It's unnerving and Keith claims he has a nervous tic now due to this. Joy is that no one can come fix it until Monday and they cannot do anything about it in the meanwhile. I was already mad from the cruise going awry, so I could about do in the alarm company now.
Heading to bed.

OH MAN I am so sorry! Certainly not what you had in mind when you left. I wish it had been a better time for you.
