You say it's your birthday...

Happy Birthday to me. Wow, I feel old. I'm definitely middle aged now.

Keith surprised me with this bouquet of vividly colored tulips at work. I tried to take a picture upclose so you could see just how gorgeous these flowers are. He also gets points for making reservations at the Melting Pot tonight and presenting me with these earrings that "match" the necklace he got me for our 10th anniversary. He said he could have gotten an exact matching pair of earrings to the necklace, but they were post earrings and he told them jewelers that he needed earrings that wouldn't poke me in the head when I was on the phone. Good man.

I emailed in my paper today. I didn't get any sort of feedback yet, but I don't really expect to this soon. I sort of don't expect it PERIOD at this point. I'm a little more than done with the whole thing.... if you know what I mean. I'm just hanging in there... I HAVE to have the class. It's not a fun class. I don't think it would be any more fun if I dropped it now and opted to retake it later. I'm sticking it out.

Maybe that's why I feel old. I'm getting more and more responsible as the years accumulate. 10 years ago, I would have said, eh, who needs it.

Okay, keith's yelling for me to come watch Survivor on the tivo. I'm hoping Shane is kicked out.
