CKU-A Atlanta update

Okay, I was sitting here watching the clock countdown. We had pizza for dinner. It was a fun time.

Anyway, once the clock hit 8:00:00 and the REGISTER NOW button popped up on my screen, my fingers just went to typing furiously. Unfortunately, I got a pesky hourglass and my computer froze up after I entered my credit card information. Then I got a plain white screen and an error message. I swear, you'd think this would be smoother after they've been doing it for like 4 years...

Anyway, I opened another browser window and went through it all over again. Whew. I got into all of the classes I hoped to except for one. The one I didn't get was a ribbon class (and I love ribbon), but the class I got in place of that is a girl themed scrapbook class. So, I'm pretty happy with my second choice on that. The rest were my first choices. Two Tim Holtz classes on Saturday (whoo hoo!!!). Color on the Surface at 1:30, working with alcohol inks, Rules of Distress at 3:00. A Perfect Match with some Imagination Project/Gin X stuff, and the It's a Girl Thing Too with Reminisce are both on Friday. The album track that my aunts, mom, and I are all in together is A Year's Worth of Memories. Not as much of the celebrity hype in there, it uses a 12x12 format, which is what the 4 of us typically use, and since it's sponsored by Creating Keepsakes instead of one of the manufacturers, we will be working with more of a variety of product lines. It doesn't appear to have been one of the more popular choices, but it also didn't require as much prep-work and photo gathering prior to the class as many of the other ones.

Hehehe, I know some of you are just looking and saying "whatever" with all of the names and product lines. Just know that I'm looking forward to having a fun weekend with my mom and her two sisters at the end of July at this little "retreat" for scrapbookers in Atlanta, GA.

All that being said, I need to hit the road and get to work. I have a resume appointment at 9:30! It's also going to be a moving day for more of the offices. I took my allergy meds as I was already having issues. There's gonna be a lot of dust and junk again.

Tomorrow morning is class in SC :( I asked Keith when I get my birthday day to sleep in?! Sniffle sniffle. At this point, sleeping in isn't even what it used to be. In my old age, I'm getting into a routine.
