I could have used an extra few days this weekend. Keith was helping his boss put in a folding attic stairway until almost 2 am on Friday. I got to meet his boss's wife and children, so that was good, but the 2 am thing was crummy. What was even more crummy was that they didn't actually make any progress. So... yesterday I got to go out with the wife and kids and Keith got to put in stairs. The two of us and the three kids went to Chuck E. Cheese. That made for a chaotic time of it, but it was nice to make a friend.
With all that said, we didn't get much done here this weekend. We cleaned up a lot of the downstairs. There were a lot of boxes from the new TV and components in the living room, so Keith put those in the garage. Just having things under control in most of the downstairs is nice. My "studio" is kind of crazy, but we did get the paper shelves together on Saturday night, so I can do that now. Upstairs is still a disaster, but I got one of the two boxes that was in the bathroom emptied and all of the boxes in the laundry room are empty, even though I didn't get everything put away.
I have too many books, too many knick knacks and no shelves. That keeps returning as an issue. This is what I want in my scrapbook room. http://ww2.potterybarn.com/cat/pip.cfm?src=shpcfurhof%7Crshop&gids=p346&cmsrc=hero The shelf that runs up high, I would love that for my "things" that I don't need to get my hands on, but want to look at.
If someone can tell me how to put a link in my post and give it a title, I would appreciate it (instead of showing the whole ugly http address.) :)
