... I'm taking a breather in between a house clean up and dinner cooking. I am just waiting for the oven to beep and then it will be chicken cordon bleu time. Around that same time, Keith should be walking in the door. Laundry load #2 is in the wash and all is well here.
It has just been BUSY for me, in general, lately. Putting in close to 30 hours a week and still shuttling Hannah around for her stuff, working a lot of evenings. It's fine though, I just miss having some down time. That will come soon enough though.
We went to Discovery Place on Sunday and brought along a new friend of Hannah's. It was a nice outing and a chance to do something a bit different. I just wanted to get out of the house but didn't want to end up at the movies or shopping, which is what we typically default to on a weekend where there's not much happening.
Keith and I cleaned out the garage on Saturday, which was awesome! The veteran's group came by for a pick up on Monday so I was able to set aside a few extras for them.
The bonus is that Keith did get the hot tub working! I've been out to it twice and it was blissful. Better than new! A few of the little bubbler jets weren't blowing, but we think it may be a kink in the line. It's not a big deal. Just kind of one of those things where you wonder what happened.
