Remember me?

My blogging has gotten more infrequent. It used to be a pretty routine thing, blog a bit, check in on my friends' blogs... now I only have one blogging friend and I can keep up with people on Facebook. It's not quite the same to read a one liner as it is to read someone's thoughts and feelings, but it has become the social media of choice with everyone I used to follow through blogs.

I haven't had much happening in my life either, work work work... home home home... repeat. Tomorrow is Hannah's birthday party and I took today off from work to finally try to put that in order. I was crazy last week with the Career Fair at work, almost 2000 people attended and it was a success, but that left me with very littler personal time and now I need to focus on Hannah's party.

She got her report card yesterday. Lowest grade was one 84 (85 is a B), so I am pleased with that. Seems like she got her head straight after getting a not too complimentary interim report 3 weeks ago that actually showed 2 F's and a few C's, mainly because of missing assignments. She will get great grades on her tests (90's 100's) and then a 0 for an assignment and will mess up her average altogether. A lot of the time she forgot the paper in her locker or at home, but I know that she did it! I am glad she managed to finish strong.

Last week she was awarded her purple belt in Chun Kuk Do and loves it. Even though she has her black belt in tae kwon do, she gets more excited about going to the half hour of this class than she ever did going to tae kwon do, I believe.

Just got another RSVP for the party. More than half of the kids RSVP'ed, so I think she will have a good turn out. I'm sure that there will be some that haven't RSVP'ed that plan on attending. Looking forward to it and will post the details later. Now I'm off to pick up some things for that.

I know what you mean about blogging as I keep flip-flopping about closing my blog and using facebook exclusively. If I were 1000% thrilled about using facebook then I would have already done it. The only problem is I don't have the patience to get my blog to look the way I want it to right now.
