The cold, or flu, continues to nag at me here. I am awake because of the incessant coughing and stuffiness. I was hoping for a reprieve today, but it doesn't appear it's time for me to be over this yet. At least I think it's changing over time and hopefully that means this bug is running its course.
Keith and Hannah had fun at the Panthers/Bucs game yesterday, although Keith texted me and said that Hannah was freezing. I productively "half" watched the game from the sofa while writing out Christmas cards and then tying ribbons and candy canes on canisters of cookies for the production staff where Keith works. I ran out of ribbon at the 51st can.
Today I am in for a special treat. Keith had the day off on Friday because he didn't use all of his vacation days. We went to the Cheesecake Factory for lunch and picked up something for Hannah for Christmas. He will be home again today, making this a 4 day weekend for him. He put up the wreaths on the windows before I got up yesterday. Our plan is to go to breakfast after Hannah gets on the school bus.
Hannah had a sleepover at "B's" Saturday following the middle school dance/fun night at the local Y. She said it was the best one yet (the Y does it monthly) because she had friends from football cheer there, from basketball cheer, from her competition squad from last year that she has missed, and just a bunch of people. She fell asleep before 8 pm last night.
