At the moment though, I'm hanging out in my bedroom with the 3 cats napping around me.
Hannah had a harder time in school this grading period. Her lowest was an 80 and that meant C's on the report card since the grading scale in NC is different than anywhere else in the country it seems. It makes me want to move back to FL or NY just so she can compete on a level field when it comes college time, but since this is just one report card and we won't be worrying about colleges until later on, well, I guess we can stay ;)
8 more basketball games to go. That has been absolutely crazy for me. I get out of work and drive straight to whichever school they are playing at. My day isn't any longer than Hannah's though. I could skip some, and at some point I may have to, but I am going to go as often as I can to support her. The beauty of it is that there isn't another sport that has cheerleaders after basketball season is over, so Hannah won't be trying out for another squad until football try outs for next school year sometime in late April or May.
I've been writing a career change advice Q/A piece for a small local paper this month. I wish I had the ability to link to it here, but they don't post much of the actual paper online. I had another reporter call me yesterday for a piece on Job Hunting during the holiday season and some strategies.
Well, now I'm just stalling, trying to be lazy just a while longer before going to Curves. Need to get my butt in gear.
You Are Dreamy and Imaginative |
![]() You're the type of person who can sit all day with only your mind to occupy you. You have a vivid imagination, and your mind takes you on quite a journey. You never end up close to where you started. You give a first impression of being flaky. You're often so lost in your thoughts that you forget about the world around you. You are an armchair novelist. You are always developing interesting worlds in your mind, but you're not disciplined enough to write them down. |
