Remember what I said...?

about not speaking too soon and guarding my words? Well, yeah, it happened again. Keith came home last night and I was starting up with a headache. The two of us went out to dinner and by the time we finished, I was in a LOT of pain. When we got home, I went to the Urgent Care walk in clinic and was given an iffy diagnosis of a sinus infection or a severe migraine. In either case, they gave me a pain shot that took the edge off the headache and then prescriptions for dealing with both the headache and the possible sinus infection. It was a rough night when the shot wore off again, but I'm feeling a bit better this morning.

Still managed to pack and get ready to the point that we just need to walk out to the car and jump in. Keith gets to do the honor of taxiing the pets to the vet. 3 out of the 4 are not going to be happy because they are also due for some shots as of last month. I figured I'd spare them the trauma of two car trips and just have it all done now.

Hannah started perking up last night, but still crawled into bed feeling miserable. I think the fact that she slept all day helped. I just hope she wasn't up all night.

One thing I noticed yesterday as we were out in doctor's offices, etc is that everyone wished us a happy THANKSgiving with the stress on the word thanks. In NY it was thanksGIVING. When I started to think about this, I decided that it's not a bad thing to stress either THANKS or GIVING at this time of year. Both are good!

This is my last post for a bit. I've decided to leave the laptop at home and just enjoy this time with my family. So, to my American friends, I wish you a happy THANKS GIVING :)
