Day 3

At home with Hannah for the third day in a row. She's still running a fever of around 100, which waxes and wanes with the DayQuil I've been giving her and then the NyQuil at night. She woke up with the fever though, so she won't be going in today. I'm going to call in to the school and see if we can swing by and pick up any assignments or reading that she has missed.

I just realized that this is a 3 day weekend with Monday being a teacher workday/Columbus Day? Keith requested the day off a while ago and it completely slipped my mind because I haven't been as calendar driven the last few days. I keep a big blotter style desk calendar on the breakfast bar where I have all of the family's comings and goings listed out for us to keep track and haven't looked at it in a few days.

We have been watching 3 dvd's per day and just sitting around on the loveseat together. Playing on Facebook. Trying to keep Hannah drinking lots. Yesterday we headed out to Blockbuster and the trip was almost too much for her, she fell asleep in the car on the 10 minute drive home.

She is due her first report card the middle of next week and that will be the last bit of paperwork she needs to try out for basketball cheerleading the following week. I'm not sure how that will work out if she has football cheerleading practice for the competition at the same time as the practices and try outs for basketball cheer, but we will cross that bridge when we come to it.
