Alex is Home

He is laying between Hannah and I on my bed while Hannah's doing homework and I'm watching Clean House. Everyone at the vet's office had to come say good bye to him and give him some snuggles before he left today. They just fell in love with him and said he was an awesome cat. The best news is that he is eating on his own. They gave him an appetite stimulant this morning and he didn't have to be fed by hand. Even though he didn't have any special instructions when we got him home, I thought that I would keep him holed up in my room so I can keep an eye on what goes in and out for a day or so. After he checked everything out, he ate some more.

Hannah has a bit of a headache today and is going to skip tumbling. The combination of the two probably is not good. She said she doesn't feel as bad as she has the last few times. It's overcast and drizzly off and on, so I think that has something to do with it. I have a bit of a headache myself.

She has brought home 2 of her progress reports so far between being out yesterday morning for the doctor and then again for a bit today for the orthodontist, but so far, she has a 96 in science and an 89 in social studies. She isn't as keen on her math and English teachers this year, so I'm hoping that doesn't affect her grade at all. She loved her English teacher last year and loved English as result and ended up with superior grades.
