Red Paint

So, I managed to paint the wall I wanted to paint red today. Unfortunately, it was a bear of a job and needed 4 coats to get it to look right. I didn't know that I needed to use a special "Ralph Lauren Dark Toned Primer" with this particular paint. I used up the quart and went to Home Depot to buy another when I realized. At that point, I would have had to have painted the primer and another 2 coats of paint afterwards, so I just moved forward with the red paint and no primer.

You also get to see a shot of my awesome "Pottery Barn" arrow that I got at the outlet shop. I think it's so quirky and fun, I just love it.
