Hannah and I had a crazy day yesterday. Got up, took her to the dentist, then took her from the dentist to the pediatrician. Ran from the pediatrician up to the area Keith works in and met him for lunch, then headed to the outlet mall that is only 5 miles away from where we had lunch. Came home and got ready for an evening appointment, took Hannah to karate, went to work, came home at 9 pm and ate dinner. Watched "Traitor" with Keith and went to bed at midnight.
Here I am now, a little too early, but thinking about work at 11:30 today. Since I only have a half hour today, I'm bringing Hannah with me to sit and crochet then the two of us will have fun in the "big city".
Backing all of that up, Hannah's dentist visit was fine. She's going to get a sealant on one of her pre-molars. No cavities, everything was good with her check up.
I took her to the doctor though because I thought she was covered in some kind of bites, but had no evidence of anything in the house biting her. Keith and I are fine. I even watched a movie with her in her bed on her last day of school. It started as 3, but they just kept coming over the past week and a half. I felt crazy for making the appointment Monday evening to take my child to the doctor because she's getting bitten by unseen insects, but I was completely stumped and didn't know what to do for her. Well, she has a rash, but the doctor couldn't say what kind. She was able to rule out about a dozen things that it wasn't (it's not bites or fleas, those are usually around the ankles, it's not chicken pox because they aren't the right texture...etc) and ended it with an antibiotic prescription and said it should clear up in a week.
The two of us had fun walking around the mall for about 2 hours. I had bought her a shirt at TJ Maxx there about a month ago and she loves it, so we went there first to see what we could find. She got 2 t-shirts super cheap that she is excited to get to wear. Other than that, we just did some walking and looking.
Well, I have some time before I have to get ready to go to work again. I'm doing a presentation for a few hundred school employees that were just laid off last week. Very very sad situation.
