It's almost tomorrow!

I am heading off to bed. Hannah and I had a wonderfully laid back and lazy day today when I got home from work. My day at work ended in a bit of a surreal manner, so when Keith called and said he was going to have to work late, I phoned to Hannah (who was home a half hour before me) and told her we were going to grab dinner locally and then play the rest of the evening by ear.

She was tired so she ended up skipping karate and stunt practice tonight. Instead we hung out and watched the Disney Channel and ate Oreos. Great for my diet, I know, but kind of a therapy for the therapist session with a glass of milk.

Work late again tomorrow night, so I have the morning free. I will be doing house stuff, prepping for Sharlene's visit. Nothing too exciting, but I appreciate the down time with the house to myself. I usually get more chores done when I'm by myself.

The weather was crummy today. Rain, cold. Ick. Good day for Oreos and Disney.

Found out that Hannah will have cheer try outs for school the first full week of May. There's a parent meeting prior to that so I am hoping to find out the dates for the mandatory summer camp if she makes it. I realize there will be just a slot or two open, but if she makes it, we will need to make plans around that particular week. It won't hurt to just find out what it is so I don't schedule something and then have to mess around with trying to get refunds, etc. We're talking about going to PA this summer, to visit Elissa and her family in NJ and then see what else we have left. Hannah and I will go visit family in FL for at least a week. Then in the fall, we're talking about going to the Grand Canyon. Something I've wanted to do since watching those Brady Bunch reruns, lol. It's cheaper to fly to Las Vegas and head to the Grand Canyon from there, so we are working through some ideas and possibilities. Not too interested in planning our summer and fall trips until we fully enjoy and live through the Easter cruise to the fullest. I am so excited!!! and have our excursions taken care of and a few spa appointments booked for myself. Sharlene will be here for most of next week, then the following week, we will be cruising! Ack! I can't wait!!!

The Grand Canyon trip will be a great photo op. I want to bring E and the kids there someday too. E's never been there and I haven't been there since half a lifetime ago.

Hope to see you this Summer first though! It would be great to see you guys if you can fit us in!
