After having portraits taken (and Keith was running back to get my camera), the girls are outside waiting for the pictures to be ready. While killing some time, the limo driver picked up McDonald's for the girls to eat en route to the Melting Pot where they had dessert reservations (and Keith and I had a pot of cheese with our name on it, at a table near theirs...) at 7 pm.
Arriving at the Melting Pot in style.
Hannah is excited about the massive Hershey's bar and sees the CD, but she doesn't realize that is NOT all there is to her present!
Hannah just realized that inside the CD was a note telling her we had stage side seats for Fall Out Boy's Charlotte concert in late April. All those clues, friends helping her, and she was still not sure until she read the note.
The girls got to choose two chocolates. One pot had "Flaming Turtle" (milk chocolate with caramel and pecans) and the other had "Oreo Cookies and Cream" (white chocolate with crushed Oreos toasted in it). They loved the bananas, strawberries and pound cake. No one ate the cheesecake! I could have...
Not only did Keith and I get our own table for two, we got to quietly follow behind the limo in his truck, knowing that the girls were taken care of. We would enjoy occasionally seeing a head pop out, loud singing and "hootin' and hollerin'"
The limo was really a party in its own right!
Trying to squeeze everyone in for a shot of them in the limo. 7 girls, one car. They weren't squished in there, but I couldn't imagine 10 full sized adults in there as it's said to hold.
No, Hannah did not actually EAT the 5 lbs. of chocolate last night, but her friends wanted a picture of her attempting to bite through it. She couldn't!
