Sunset Beach, NC

We had a wonderful weekend with Heather. We arrived late on Friday night (after realizing that we forgot stuff and needed to go back home and start over again a few miles into the trip). Saturday morning, Heather and I got to chat and then Hannah joined us. We ate breakfast and took a walk on the beach. When we came back, Keith took Hannah to the beach and went in the water while Heather and I worked on some stuff and had a giggle-fest. We went to the "Giggling Mackrel" for lunch, which was very fitting as you can see; Heather and I were still cracking each other up at the restaurant. We went to a fun touristy gift shop and then Heather and I watched "A Knight's Tale". I saw it in the $5 bin at Walmart and had to get it for her since she hadn't seen it. Not that it's my favorite movie, but because I wanted her to see Paul Bettany as Chaucer in it, because you can just tell he's going to make an awesome Dustfinger in Inkheart when it's released. Keith and Hannah went back to the beach and stayed until it was 8:30 and dark, watching crabs and playing in the sand. We stayed up late at night playing a card game that is sort of like Scrabble called Quiddler. It was a lot of fun. This morning we went to breakfast instead of lunch so that we could stay at the beach longer. We spent a little more time playing Quiddler and then it was time to head home. We got back around 9 and I have been trying to wind down. Enjoy the photos!!!
