Exploding Candles

Just had an experience I wanted to pass on. I like to light scented candles when I clean and have a decent collection of "Yankee Candles". I had one in my (dry) bathroom sink because it was getting low and knew it would get hot, didn't want it to mar the furniture. Well, it started crackling and then it exploded. It appeared the last of the wax had evaporated, but the wick was still burning, it overheated and shattered the glass jar. I happened to be nearby when it happened. Since it was in the sink already, I turned on the tap and put out the fire! I have issues with setting bathrooms on fire, don't I? Anyway, it seemed pretty innocent and wanted to pass on the info so someone else doesn't have an unfortunate experience.
