The Cleaning Continues

I am making a lot of progress as I continue to declutter my house. I managed to get rid of another box this morning before I left for work. The magazines have a home to go to and still other things are now in the pile for the VFW to pick up as soon as we get a red plastic bag in the mail.

I didn't get anything accomplished yesterday because of the all day excursion to horseback riding:
  1. 2:30 leave work
  2. 3:20 arrive at the school
  3. 3:50 the car rider line begins to move
  4. 4:00 make eye contact with Hannah
  5. 4:25 arrive at horseback riding
  6. 4:25 - 6:25 wait
  7. 6:25 head home
  8. 7:00 arrive at home

That's about it. Hannah showered, then we went out for a bite to eat and got home in time to rush Hannah to bed by 9:30. It was pretty sad that Keith left work at 6 and made it home before me, when I left for the day at 2:30, but that's the story of my taxi days.

The big discovery though was that there is a branch of the library 5 miles away, so I went and picked up something new to read and a book on CD to make my commute more pleasant during the week. I figured if I can manage to alternate trips to the painfully tiny library (it's smaller than my bedroom and living room combined) with some other little outing, maybe I could get through the hurry up and wait Tuesday syndrome for a bit.

Hannah enjoyed school the past two days and is getting her homework done (from what I can tell). She may have a problem when she gets more homework with all of her activities, but we will see. Today is the first day starting back to her cheer/tumbling, etc. and will be starting karate for the first time! Could be a bit much, but, like I said, we will see.
