My heart and prayers are with the people who lost loved ones and for our nation's fabric that changed so dramatically 7 years ago. There really aren't even words to describe the heaviness of my soul, not only for the tragedy, but for the after effects it has had as well. Not just in the United States, but for the world.
It is overcast and a little on the cool side here today. It's starting to feel a little more like fall in North Carolina. The pool will be closing until April at the end of this month and the leaves will begin to change colors. We will still have a few weeks of warm/hot weather to come, but it's days like today that I see summer coming to an end unofficially. Still being south, it doesn't fit the same bill as growing up in New York and having crisper days begin at Labor Day.
