Back in the Saddle on Monday

Sharlene sent over some of her photos for me the other day.

The photo is blurry, but here's Sharlene and I with Paula Deen. Wasn't it nice of her to come greet us in her retail store? She's shorter than I imagined ;)
I need to get up and get ready for work. Just one appointment today at the nearby campus. It was a good weekend. Very quiet and uneventful. Saturday the weather was gorgeous so we went to the lake/beach and spent the better part of the afternoon there since that is Hannah's favorite thing to do.
I finished reading Breaking Dawn and was not impressed in the least. There were a few "good" parts and devices, but for the most part, I was disappointed.
We also went to see "The Dark Knight" and Heath Ledger was really disturbing to watch. It wasn't my favorite movie of the summer, but he did a great job in it and it was interesting to watch. It was one of the loudest movies I've been to in a while.
I've been watching the Olympics a bit here and there. Right now I'm watching women's volleyball (Poland and China). I was able to see the American men's swim relay last night when they won a gold medal. It was fun to see their reaction. I'm not much of a sports person, but something about the Olympics makes it watchable to me.
Okay, I need to get out of here. Have a great day!

What a great picture! Sounds like a good weekend. Now I was surprised how much I liked the Dark Knight? Even though Heath's role was quite disturbing??
