Troubled Tuesday

I figured since I didn't do anything today, I could at least come up with some alliteration for my title. I'm not necessarily troubled. I'm actually lazy with the intermittent sensation of coughing up a lung.

I had 2 of the OM kids here yesterday afternoon for about 2 hours. I cooked dinner when they left then landed back in bed. I was up all night with a cough and felt lousy. As a result, another day at home for me today. OM was cancelled tonight because a lot of the kids are sick. It seems like everyone has either strep or some kind of a flu that is making the rounds. I was able to swap my entire appointment schedule from today to Friday without much incidence. I'm just starting to run out of alternative dates as I continue to condense down and also help out with the college's career fair on the 5th.

My mom's surgery was successful. She said it wasn't as horrible as she was expecting and was telling me some of the gruesome tales that others had shared with her.

I got our plans all settled to go to Lake Winnipesaukee, NH this summer with my parents. I have the motel on the lake booked for all of us, I just need to work on finding a place in the mountains to stay the first 2 or 3 nights when we are there. It's hard because most of the places are bed and breakfasts that don't allow kids under 12, don't have private bathrooms, or have some other kind of quirk that just would make it uncomfortable.

Well, I'm going to head off and figure out dinner for the family.
