Tuesday Doings

I don't know where my day went. I had a longer day at work than typical. Since Hannah was at TKD and would have been in the middle of a lesson, I decided to go to Ruby Tuesday for an early dinner/late lunch. It was an interesting day at work, as it usually is. Especially on the days when I am doing community counseling. I always meet such interesting people and just love what I do. Some days I feel more effective than others, but I am not typically disappointed with how things go.

I picked her up around 4:45 and that gave me enough time to get her some dinner and talk to my sister on the phone before carting Hannah off to OM. They practiced their dialogue tonight and made it through in just over 6 minutes. They only have 8 minutes from start to finish to get everything, including setting up props, etc, done.

My day was basically shot. It's amazing to me how much time it takes for me to get in a few hours of work each day. My prep time in the morning, my commute time, grabbing a bite to eat, all of that seems to take up more time than I actually spend in the office most days. If I didn't love it, it almost wouldn't be worth the bother.

Keith's still plugging away in San Antonio. He took the mid-term for his college class the other day and got 20/25, so he is still making decent grades as he moves forward. It's pretty exciting to know that he is working on his degree again and could actually finish it in a decent time frame.
