It was another day of just random flukes of nature. Some of it I am just not even in the mood to relive right now. Ultimately, I picked up Hannah's friend and went to dinner before her special movie night at the riding academy. We went to Fuddrucker's. Always a favorite. Anyway, Hannah was getting some cheese sauce and spilled it on her hand before getting to our table. It burned her hand. The manager said that the setting was twice what it was supposed to be, the earlier shift must have set it high to warm it up quicker and then didn't change it back. Hannah's hand was red and angry looking, but she was just so adamant to go to movie night with her friend from school.
I took them out after stopping at the pharmacy and buying some sprays and creams for her hand. When I picked Hannah up after the movie, the entire hand was blistering up. She was in even more pain it seemed, so we had to take her to the ER to find out what we could do for her. She's asleep now, after being given a dose of vicodin. The diagnosis was 2nd degree burns.
