Jiffy Lube

Well, I called Jiffy Lube this AM. Long story short, they eventually sent someone over while we were gone today and they were able to look at the car while it was parked here at the house. The person said that the problem was that the oil filter was defective and they would "send it back to the manufacturer so they could find out what was wrong with it". They replaced the oil filter, added oil and revved the engine. I was told to bring it back to the service facility when it was convenient this week so they could look over the car, wipe it down and make sure that it was cleaned up. I'm ticked though that they said initially that the car was not leaking oil, that the only reason we were seeing oil in the driveway the day after the oil change was because they splashed a little on the frame and there was nothing wrong. Dummies.

It seemed to drive a little better when I was taking Hannah to a birthday party tonight.

I've been very tired today. Yesterday, after I took a shower, I felt some pain in my chest and it hasn't gone away. As long as it's not sharp and stabbing, I am going to wait and see if it gets better. If it is still bothering me on Monday, I will go ahead and go to the doctor. Since I'm having some wheezing, etc. I think it's actually something with my lungs and not my heart. Who knows, in either case, it's not good to have chest pain.

Many of the neighbors have been putting out their Christmas lights and decorations. We will probably do that next weekend.

It looks like things are a "go" for Hannah and I to head back to Florida for a few days after Christmas. We are planning to leave here the morning of the 26th and will drive back on the 3oth. Not a lot of time, I know, but I don't want to leave Keith alone for the holidays. Hannah gets out of school on the 19th, so it will be a nice break for her with some time to relax at home and some time to visit her friends in FL again. We may stop over night on the way back, depending on what time we leave that day. I really don't relish the idea of being on the road on New Year's Eve at all, but if it was just for a bit in the morning so we could do some last minute visiting on the 30th, maybe I would do it?
