Hamburger, Mascara, and a Concert?

So, I had a good day, had a nice appointment at work, had a productive meeting with the director, good stuff all around. I dropped off my dry cleaning on the way home and Hannah got to spend a little time with a friend while I battled Friday traffic (who knew there was traffic coming out of Uptown at only 2:30pm?). Hannah and I ran to Inner Peaks to sign her up for the rock climbing team and she will start that next Friday from 4 - 6. After that, we stopped at the Walmart we used to go to. Since they built a new one just 3 miles from our house, we don't frequent that one often these days. Regardless, this was on the way back to the house. I decided to get some hamburger to make meatloaf tomorrow. I needed some new conditioner, some make up, etc. Looked for a birthday gift for Hannah's friend for tomorrow. When we pulled into the parking lot, there was caution tape blocking off the center of the parking lot and a small stage set up. We didn't think much of it.

Well, as we were leaving, we saw New Life 91.9's van and their tent set up (that's the Christian station we've listened to since we moved here). I had NO clue they were doing anything. So, Hannah leaned out the window and asked someone who was doing a concert. Casting Crowns!!! Oh my! The first "grown up" CD Hannah owned was Casting Crowns first CD because she loved the song "If We Are the Body". A free concert, from this group, in the parking lot of the Walmart. Go figure!!! Actually, Family Christian Stores has a store in the same plaza. I just never shopped there after I tried to browse their Christian music selection and found hardly anything more than Christmas music. The better news, the concert was staring in just 15 minutes. Keith met us there about half way through. They did a "mini" concert, it was an hour long, and afterwards they were signing autographs, all except for Megan their keyboard player who barely got through the concert because she lost her voice yesterday. It was an awesome surprise and we had a great time. We bought their new CD and Hannah got their autographs on the whatever it's called that has the cover and the information on it.
