Hi all, it has been over a week since I last posted. Things just got crazy when I went back to work full time. As I had mentioned in previous posts, Hannah and I went to visit Heather last Friday evening and came back on Sunday night, then Monday night, I had my first career transitions group at the community college. Tuesday night, the Hom family was here. Wednesday night was Stampin Up night. Last night we all went to Dave & Busters. This morning we said good bye to the Homs. I couldn't take any time off from work for my company, which made things a little sad and a little crazy, most of all, a lot rushed.
It has been HOT. Crazy hot. Over 100 degrees for the past week. Yesterday the thermometer in my car registered 112 degrees. I don't remember it ever being that hot in Lakeland.
Hannah and I had a great time with Heather. It's sad that she only lives 3 hours from me now and I haven't gone to visit her since we moved here 2 years ago. We had a lot of fun at the Museum of Life and Science in Durham.
Elissa and I had a chance to be laid back for a change. Even though I had to work every day, it was a nice change of pace to have them around. We had fun at the stamp club get together on Wed.
So, that's everything. Things are still going great with the set up at the community college. I am looking forward to finishing my internship hours and hence my degree.
Hannah and I are trying to cool off right now. Tomorrow afternoon she has her 2nd pre-test for her black belt. Unfortunately, the A/C in the TKD place isn't working and they are relying on a pathetic portable unit. With temps over 100, it's just a joke.
