The Homs made it safely. We didn't have nearly enough time before everyone ran out of steam this evening. We cooked here at home so everyone could just sort of unwind after they had a week of vacation, which everyone knows can be stressful. Elissa and I went to see the Stamping Up consultant afterwards and picked up the new catalog. Fun stuff. Now I'm ready to crash.
I had a fun day at my last leg of Job Search Workshops. Today was interview day. I got to do my "what not to wear" visual of hot pink shirt, orange pants with matching pink stripes... lol. I worked with someone for about 2 hours afterwards. It was rewarding.
Headed out to get Hannah then to Walmart to shop for dinner. It took a lot longer than expected. While we were shopping, we had Hannah's photos developed from her two off site climbs. The photos aren't the best, they were done with a disposable camera, but they are so much better than not having anything at all. I was just kind of amazed that she really did climb up the side of a mountain using nothing but her hands, feet, and length of rope. Amazing. In true scrapbooker offspring fashion, she took photos of the van, the map of the area they were climbing, and a few of herself holding the camera at arms' length. That's my girl!
