I got A's in both Psychopathology and Advanced Diagnostics and Treatment! Whoo hoo, yeah me. Just 6 more credit hours to go, just another 18 weeks in the program, just 6 or so more drives down to Columbia, and I will be finished. No more classroom lecture though. That is a relief in itself.
Hannah will have finished her EOGs today, so that's a load of stress off of her. Thanks to all of you who have kept her in your thoughts over the past 3 days. Now we just have to wait for the results. Yesterday was the math portion, and that's the one that was 'iffy'. She told me that her teacher complimented her afterwards and said she was one of only 3 in the class that made a 'cheat sheet' with information on it on scrap paper like she told them, and she took the time to go back and check her work. She used all of the time she was allotted. Hopefully that will all be to her benefit in the end.
I had planned on making dinner tonight, but maybe it's a good day to go out? Hannah's idea of celebration is always for me to cook one of her favorites and for us to eat at home. My idea is to go out and have someone else fill my drink, cook, and clean up afterwards. We will see.
I have only 5 more days of work!!! I will be celebrating that for SURE. Not sure how I will celebrate it, but it will involve lots of whooping and hollering, lol.
My mom will be arriving in just over a week. Keith went last night and picked up the bookshelves we had gotten a raincheck for at Target. He put one together. I actually spent time after getting home from work yesterday clearing one of the shelves in my scrapbook room so I could try to organize some things in there. As usual, I did that for maybe an hour before I was ready to just get a big can and throw it all in there and shove it out of sight. That's not the point though, the point is to have it organized, not hidden. I will keep working at it. I really wanted things to be tidy before my mother arrives so we may be able to actually sit in there and use the space as it was intended. I can dream, right?
Now that I am finished with classroom time, it's time for Keith to get back on the education bandwagon. He can go to school here for free, but I think he will have a hard time getting the credit hours he needs here in the evening, so he may have to continue with Southeastern University and do the rest of his degree online. If we can manage to get some of the classes here, that would be better, just because of the cost involved elsewhere.
