Another weekend come and gone

Hi all, Things did work out with the class on Wed. I ended up getting put into yet another professor's class. The original professor was taken off the class because he is going to be helping with the practicum stuff. Then the class I was in had an enrollment of 32 and they split the class (thank God for CACREP accreditation process). The class let out fairly early and it was okay with the prof. that I'm going to miss this Wed. because of the Josh Gracin concert.

It has been a little quieter than expected this past week at work. The weather has been gorgeous, edging onto the 80's. Students are all outside playing volleyball and laying out near the pool. I think that has something to do with the amount of traffic I'm seeing.

Hannah has been sick for the past couple of days. She missed horseback riding yesterday, but we did go to see her artwork in the county show. We found out yesterday that they don't judge the elementary school artwork. Regardless, she did a great job with her painting and she was one of only 5 entries from her school.

When we got home, I worked in the garden some and pulled up a bunch of weeds. Today we spent most of the day doing yard work. I told Keith we needed to get some landscape fabric to put down so we wouldn't constantly be overrun with weeds. We were going to spread mulch, but the place where we could have bought it in bulk was closed on Sundays so we will have to wait until next weekend. The prep is all done though. It's going to look nice.

Tonight I noticed Hannah has a swollen gland on each side of her neck. We gave her some night time cold stuff and hope she will sleep well. I will have to determine what I'm going to do in the morning. I hope it's not strep throat again.
