Interesting article

This is from a blog on "beliefnet.com" What if the Amish Were in Charge of the War on Terror?

Hannah is going to be testing for her high red belt on Thursday. We just found out yesterday that she meets the qualifications to move ahead now after learning everything she needed for the next belt, as she would have had to do in Florida, but also in learning all of the forms, techniques, and protocol for all of the belt levels below hers since the new place she's attending is part of a different tae kwon do federation.

Hannah also brought home a letter that said the 4th grade classes are all overcrowded so approximately 3 children will be pulled out of each class to form a brand new one with a new teacher. I am really happy with the way things have gone for her this year and do not want her moved. Last year she had so many issues that we had to seek therapy for what was labelled by the psychologist as an adjustment disorder (the move, the teacher, etc.) and by the odious teacher as every learning disability under God - dyslexia, ADD, ADHD, an implication of ODD, slow, "average at best" student. DON'T want to have to do that again. No thank you. I'm sure, based on that argument, we will be able to keep her right where she is.

I'm a little early this morning, I have a chiropractor appointment at 8:30 before I get in to work. Should be an exciting day. I'm wiped out - didn't get in until after 11 last night from class. The drive is really killing me with it getting later and later.
