I'm wasting time

Happy Birthday, Val!!!!!!!!

Just popping in because I am sick of reading my textbook. Doing my ethics homework and have one last question to answer to call it a night. I'm debating if I want to try to do it at work tomorrow and just go to bed now. What would I do if my views conflicted with the guidelines of the agency I worked for? Well, I think I'd probably quit. I would try to discuss my thoughts and if the agency was violating laws or professional/ethical guidelines, but most likely, I'd just start looking for another job. I have had that experience in the past and I'm not working at any of those places anymore. I haven't been asked to do anything illegal at my current university, so life is good, lol.

Alex caught a HUGE mouse today. I went to a job fair in downtown Charlotte and had to wait in line for 1/2 hour just to get into the ballroom. I've never been to a job fair that was so mobbed. Wow. Made some good connections on behalf of the university. Hopefully it will result in some internships and job postings.

What's up with the crazy weather? Lots of rain off and on later this afternoon. Guess it's hurricane season. Glad I'm missing out on the brunt of it.
