Here I go. I am not packed yet, but it doesn't really take me a lot to do that. The bigger pain in the butt is actually packing my scrapbooking stuff. I ordered photos from Walmart.com on the one hour option and the file never reached the store due to a computer glitch. Therefore, I am going without any pictures to work on. I have a couple that I still needed to work on that I will be bringing, as well as the horseback riding ones I just got, but I had planned on working on a whole album of our move this weekend and that's not going to happen now. C'est la vie. I can't let it get to me. I'm going to have a good time regardless. Just hanging out with my mom and aunts will be fun.
My last night of class is over! Whoo hoo. I turned in my paper and felt good. I got 3 100's on 3 other papers I wrote. I got them all back tonight, so that made me happy.
My friend Tom is out of the hospital and still recooperating, but somewhat mobile. Thank you for your prayers.
I'm not happy with the way my layout came out for the Chatterbox contest. It's one of those situations where the idea was much better, more dynamic, in my head. I was disappointed that I didn't have a good selection of supplies here and kicked myself that I didn't just order stuff online. I probably should have tried a couple of different layouts too, and then picked my best one. I was just so sure that my idea was a good one though... You know how that goes. I will post a photo of it when I get back because despite the fact that it isn't all that, it is still meaningful to me. The biggest problem was trying to print the photo for it. I never did achieve the quality I was looking for.
Well, I need to print out my directions to the hotel and get packing. Good night and I'll check in soon!
