No cartoons for us this morning though. We went to Concord Mills, had lunch, went to AC Moore and picked up two purple storage boxes, to
Scrapbooks N More to pick up some stuff for the Chatterbox contest at CKU, then on to the movies to see Monster House. Monster House was completely bizarre. I still don't know what to make of it.
When we got home, some new neighbors from Ocean City, NJ were driving by and we made plans to meet at the pool. We met them yesterday, they just moved in yesterday and they have a 6 year old little girl that Hannah was having fun with.
Overall, it was a full day. I am now wondering where the day went.
I started pulling stuff out in the bathroom and rearranging it, putting in shelf lining paper, etc. Now that we are coming up on 9 months in NC, we are settling in to the house and have a better sense of what should go where. For the first several months, it was just a matter of getting it all unpacked and put SOMEPLACE. Now we are reconfiguring where everything should be for best use. I figured I'd start with the bathrooms and then move on to the kitchen. The kitchen is going to be a lot of work. We have tall cabinets and there isn't anything in the top of them. I need to put the things we don't use up high. Things make some sense, but I have things shoved in the area under the island and I could probably put some of it out of the way so I can get at other things that I use more often.
Okay, other than that, I received this mass e-mail today. I'm including a link to the article, but it just was disturbing to me. Moral Majority Link I'm not a fan of Jerry Falwell. I don't know how I got on this e-mail list. I think it may be from when I was looking at some online education programs. Who knows. Regardless, this article just made me think. I'm not into the whole doomsday theory, but there is some truth to what he's saying.
So, I am off to go watch Crash again for my Social/Cultural class again. That's what my final paper needs to be on. There is so much swearing in it.
