This is now Alex's second home. His first home is back where we found him on Sunday. I walked Lenny down there and the nice lady was out working in her garden. She said he was down there someplace. Sure enough, while I was talking to her, he came out and visited with me. What a brat. The lady said she wouldn't feed him anymore so he would have to come home. I told her he'd probably just find someone else between here and there to feed him. He is pretty good at playing the starving and helpless, but loveable card I've observed.
So, anyway, I carried him back home from there. He's napping now on a chair facing out the front window of the house, like he NEVER gets out and is just waiting to go back out again.
The plan is to go to a little carnival that I've passed this week going to the college. We'll grab dinner down that way, I have some pictures ready to pick up from WalMart. It should be a nice evening. Something different at least. In the mean time, I'm going to read a bit.
