Good morning, Monday.

Hi everyone. I'm getting ready to go to work. Since I don't have to be there until 8:30 (and I don't have keys to let myself in since no one else gets there on time), I typically drop Hannah off at school, come home and blow dry my hair and put on my make up, then take off again. We are only a block away from the road I have to get on to take Hannah to school in one direction and for me to go to work in the other direction, so it doesn't add any chaos to the morning to do that.

Keith had his company picnic on Saturday. The morning was completely rained out. They went ahead with it anyway. Sometime around noon, the sun came out and the rest of the day was fine. I was the face painting lady. I was getting to be an expert by the end of the day. Hannah and some of the other children decided to go on the bouncy blow up things even though they were soaking wet.

Still no e-mail back from my research instructor. I have pleaded with her in writing to give me the direction she said she would in class. It's very frustrating and I'm pretty disappointed with the class and maybe even this entire branch of the university.

I'm wearing jeans to work today. It's going to be a day of clearing out the office for the dean to take it. I'm used to packing up resource rooms, libraries, and offices now. I can't think of how many times I've done it, voluntarily and involuntarily. I think I will like being in the new building we're going to. I won't actually be moving there until the end of May. I'm not looking forward to sitting in the middle of everyone else's chaos until then. I think they are trying to do it as a favor to me (not having me physically move locations yet) so I can still keep my focus on the students that need help, etc.

Yesterday, I moved furniture and all that fun stuff, dusted, mopped, fun fun fun. If I'm doing it all at work, I need to keep up things here at home too.

Registration for CKU-A in Atlanta is Wed. night. Both of my aunts from LI and my mom are going this year. Should be interesting. I will just be finishing up my finals the week that it actually occurs (7/28ish). That will be a plus from last year while I was trying to study for finals and finish a paper in the hotel room while everyone else was scrapbooking and having fun at night. My last class will end on Tuesday and then CKU starts on Thurs.
