We went to see "Chicken Little" yesterday. It was very cute and nothing like I expected (like the story from when I was small). I think it's funny that kids today will probably learn that this is the story of Chicken Little vs. what we all heard in Mother Goose prior to this movie. Kind of like the morphing of Cinderella from the original story (which was pretty graphic and gory in parts) to being about talking mice and birds. Regardless, this is something fun with some fun characters and personalities. I would say see it or put it on your list for when it's out on video if you aren't apt to go see an animated feature without a chicken little of your own.
So, other than the movie yesterday, we went out to lunch. Day before that we went to Outback for dinner and then shopped at Kohl's. Hannah doesn't have that many long sleeve shirts, so we picked up a couple for her. They had some of the shelves that I wanted on sale. They are the kind that look like a piece of heavy molding and then snap onto a bracket, so you don't see the hardware (kind of like a floating piece of molding). I wanted to get a small shelf for Hannah's bathroom to put the ceramics on it she painted.
We are getting some really nasty fog. It hung around yesterday and then this morning when I was taking Hannah to school, it made driving miserable.
Little Kitty Brown Toe is going out a little bit. Usually at night when it's dark, she will go out if you wait a couple of minutes. She typically doesn't go far from the door, but she did stay out without freaking out wanting to come back in the minute the door closed.
I found my shoes! I know everyone was waiting for that. It was the last box I unpacked in my bedroom and there were clothes that I haven't worn in ages (and have set aside for charity) on top of them.
With that being said, we have hung pictures and whatnots on the walls. I have unpacked all of the boxes that appeared to belong in my bedroom, bathrooms, laundry room, dining room, kitchen, living room... There are two more boxes in Hannah's room and I have a mess in my craft room (waiting to get my own shelves up), plus I have a couple of boxes of knick knacks (that will also go in the craft room once the shelf is up). Overall, it's looking good. We have to haul out more empty boxes and items that we will be donating so we will have floor space again.
Now that I've found my shoes, the brackets to hold up Hannah's canopy are missing. We have the canopy, but not the brackets. We also have the brackets up for the funky beaded curtain thing that hangs in front of her door, but it seems like a full panel of the beads to hang on it is missing.
It's really feeling more like my home now though. As I am able to clean up I will take pictures and post them.

YEAH for the box of shoes!!! I hate that feeling when you know you packed them and they should be "right" there but.....
Sounds like you are getting the house looking great!
I hope the school situation is smoothing out.
