Hi, I'm at the BMW dealership. After I dropped the girls off at one of the other mom's houses this AM, I stopped at Mc Donald's for coffee. I then noticed smoke coming from under my hood. Shortly after, my a/c started making a funny sound -- then nothing.
Those of you who live in FL, know a/c is not an option in the car. I mean, sure we could TRY to get away with it and roll down the windows, but is it really a good idea? No.
At least the BMW place takes care of you while you are here. They have all sorts of Barnies flavored coffees, Haagen-Dazs ice cream and Krispy Kreme donuts. Oh, and this computer here that you can surf the internet on. :)
Regardless, I thought I'd be at work two hours ago. Ho hum. That's what I get for stopping by on my way to work. They have to order the parts for my a/c and I will have to come back later on in the week to have it fixed. Right now they are putting a new knob on my radio for me. One of those things that wasn't a big deal, but since I was here, I told them about it.
Did I mention that I am glad that my paper/presentation is over!? I have Theories class tonight and have had my nose in that book all week trying to memorize the specifics of Adlerian vs. psychoanalytic theory. I can't believe we have a third theory before the mid-term exam. Trying to remember what makes each sort of therapy unique is what is rough for me. I get the general idea of each, but it's these little nuances... At least I have the books for that class so I CAN study, unlike my sexuality class.
At this rate, I will be at work in time for lunch.
Val, I'm sorry to hear you are stuck without your main scrapping components. How on earth are you going to manage?! I have all of my stuff accessible, but I have been so reluctant to drag any of it out because I end up taking over the whole dining room and making a big mess. I also thought I'd get to scrap more often during the days I watch the kids, but that hasn't happened yet either. I let them scrap a few weeks ago and they made little accordian style books, but I was too busy helping them put their books together, setting their eyelets, etc. to actually get to work on anything of my own.
Well, I'm going to go surf and read up on Elissa's blog. I "chat" with her so often, that I don't check in as often as I should. Have a better day than I am thus far everyone!

Oh man the word remission! I almost cried sitting here at work. That is so awesome! I can't even imagine the relief!
Congrats on getting the paper done! One less thing on your to-do list!
Glad my boobs entertained you!
Hugs
